I have a Dell 1GHz runing Windows XP Profession. I am
using the Outlook 2003 that comes with the Office
Professional 2003 I installed.
My contacts are listed in alphabetical order by last name
in the contacts folders. They also are listed by last
name then first name in 'Display As' fields in the
Address Book. None the less, when I open a new email
document and click on 'To:' button, the contacts are
listed by first name in the 'Name' field instead of by
last name as they appear in the 'Display as' field.
Is there a way to replace the 'Name' field in the address
book with the 'Display as' field. Failing that, is there
a way to edit the 'Name' field so it displays the
contacts last name first (e.g., 'Smith, John') ? Failing
all of this, is there another way to correct this
problem ?
