I'd like to create a new view in Outlook.

I'd like to list all contacts with contact details for a given a
category - no problem, it is one of the default views -

BUT:
I'd like to see the list of contacts sorted by the date of their first
upcoming activity (task or appointment) and the subject of that
activity - no success, not even when trying to show only the first
upcoming task or only the first upcoming appointment.

Any ideas or hints?

Thanks,

Alex

Any folder view shows only the data in that folder, even though Outlook lets
you think otherwise by allowing you to add fields from different types of
items in the folder. To accomplish what you describe would require custom
programming to store in the contacts folder information about related
activities -- not necessarily an easy task.
