Although, "Show this folder as an email address book" IS enabled for each of
my contact folders...I cannot get my new messages to relate to them.
When creating a new message and select "TO", I continue to get the following
message:
The address book could not be displayed. The contacts folder associated
with this address list could not be opened; it may have been moved or
deleted, or you do not have permissions. For information....blah, blah.
I have run "detect and repair", I have reinstalled Outlook, with no luck.
Windows XP, Office/Outlook 2002
Thanks in Advance!

Did you remove and re-add the Outlook Address Book Service to reset it? Be
sure to restart Outlook in between.

What you claim is not possible. The Outlook Address Book could not be
throwing an error message if it is not installed. Please post a complete
and accurate account of your problem, including your Outlook version and the
steps that created the problem.
