I tried something like:

add1@domain.com; add2@domain.com

but when I sent to this list, I got an error:

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

'Display Name' on 10/13/2004 10:38 PM
           501 char not allowed - <add1@domain.com*;add2@domain.com>

Is there some other delimitor that would work?

Thanks

Michael

Explain more accurately what you did. Are you really trying to create a DL,
or just a message with multiple recipients? Did you try enclosing the
address in single quotes?

Thanks for your response.

I do want a distribution list. Some of the people on that list have
multiple email addresses that they want to receive on (home, work,
etc). I would prefer not to have multiple entries for a single person
in the list a la: "John work "and "John home", etc.

I created an email message, then selected the distribution list from
the "Select Names" dialog that pops up when you press the "To:"
button.

Could you give an example of what you mean by enclosing the address in
single quotes?

Thanks

Michael

I still don't understand how you created this Distribution List. Having
multiple email addresses in no way requires you to create a separate Contact
entry for each address. Each email address a Contact has is listed
separately in the dialog box in which you create a DL.
