Sometimes my Outlook remembers an address I have entered before, sometimes
not. Is there a way to have it remember every address I have ever entered or
that has sent email to me?

State your Outlook version and what you mean by "Outlook remembers." That
can mean a lot of things.

Thanks for responding! I have Microsoft Outlook which I think came with my
Windows XP Professional. I cannot tell any more than that. What I mean about
Outlook remembers is that some times when I begin to type the address in the
'TO:' box, or CC or BCC, Outlook will finish the address automatically if I
have typed it before. Sometimes it will not do this. I would like it very
much if it remembered all of the addresses I have typed every time. This
would be a great time saver.

Outlook does not come with Windows XP. Outlook Express does.
Is that what you're using? Outlook only comes with Office. The version is
readily apparent when you launch it.

I do not have Outlook Express. It is simply labled Microsoft Outlook when I
launch it.

The splash screen states the version every time you launch Outlook. Look in
Help | About if you don't know your version.

That version of Outlook does have an autocompletion feature that will store
every address to which you send messages up to a limit of 1,000.
It does not store some but not others. It's all or none. The only time it
may seem to store some but not others is if you've exceeded your limit of
1,000. You can clear the cache at any time if you want or you can use third
party utilities to edit your cache like the one here:
