When we upgraded from Outlook 2000 to Outlook 2003, we noticed a new field in
Contacts -- the Display As field.  The problem is that field is populated
with the Contacts' email address instead of their name.  Is there a way to
quickly change this so that as we rollout to the rest of our firm it would be
populated with the name and not the email address?  Thanks.

The field has always been there, it was just a hidden field in earlier
versions. The format for that field cannot be configured by the end user.
Each version of Outlook has formatted it differently. All you can do is
reset the field individually for each Contact.

Outlookcode.com might have some vba code that can run through them and
change it...

I wondered about that too. If you can change the File As... field, it ought
to be possible to change the Email Display As field.
