I have a field that I defined as a text field. I want to switch it to a
calendar/date type field. How do I do it in Outlook 97 or Outlook 2002?

Create a new field. You can't change data types.

Thanks Sue.
That's what I ended up doing. I.m glad I fixed it before I had the data
loaded.
