Win XP (SP2), Office Pro 2003.  I understand that Outlook can not handle
more than 600 contacts at a time.  Is it possible to create AND share a Local
Folder where I can have more than 600 contacts (say, 1700)?  I can create the
folder in a network drive, mark it and its contents as shareable but only one
Outlook user is able to access it at any given time.  Outlook apparently does
not share folders.
Please help this is a real headache right now.

Thanks

Outlook can't share its files directly. See
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/assistance/HA011477571033.aspx for an
article by Outlook MVP Eric Legault on various ways to share Outlook data.
YOu'll also find a list of third-party sharing tools and other information
at http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/share.htm.

Many thanks for the prompt and helpful response.  If I could figure out how
to delete items stuck in the Outbox, it would make my day.
Thanks again

It's usually easiest to start Outlook with a new profile that has its own
.pst file and no accounts. You can then open your .pst file  with the
problem Outbox and delete any bad items.
