Due to a virus, I had to re-install Windows XP/Home including Outlook 2000.
Prior to re-install, I copied all files with Roxio EZ CD/DVD. After
re-install, I copied all data files, including Personal Folders .pst to a
special file in My Documents thinking that I could import the file into the
re-installed Outlook; however, Import doesn't recognize the file. Thanks,

First, importing is the wrong way to reuse Outlook data. You should
configure Outlook to reuse your file instead.
Did you move this file to a hard drive and remove its read only attribute?
What happened when you tried the import?

Thanks for your quick response Russ.
How do I configure Outlook to re-use my file?
No, I didn't remove the file's read-only attribute. I'll try that.
Nothing happened when I tried the import. The file didn't show up in Outlook.
