Hi,

I have a issue with Outlook 2003 contacts.

I have exported the GAL as a CSV (windows) file, using the
export command in Outlook 2003 - this seems fine.

I have then tried to import the CSV using the import
option in Outlook on another users account (setup up as
pop3) and ran through the wizard.  All looks fine however,
when ever the users goes into the address book to chose a
name and then hits send he gets the following
error "Sending report error (080070057) : 'Could not
complete the operation. One or more parameter values are
not valid.' This is because it doesnt recongnise the email
address propley from contacts.  If he types in the email
address it seems to work fine.  I have even tried updating
office 2003 to the latest service pack and that hasnt
solved the issue.  This is a known issue in Outlook 2000 -
could it still be a bug or am I doing something wrong. I
have also tried exporting and importing a straight .txt
file and that hasnt worked either.  Can anyone please help?

Thanks in advance.

Leena

Couldn't you have picked a format more native to Outlook, like PST?
It's very easy to make mistakes importing from CSV. Are you certain you
imported the addresses into the correct field and that they are resolved?

I've tried that already, opened the pst, copied straight
from contacts into pop3 mail box and it does the same
thing.

Well I can't figure out what went wrong from here. Have you examined the
email addresses in the Contacts you copied from the PST?
