I saw the mail from Sue Mosher re limitations, but there was no mention of an
actual number, without restrictions on mail servers is there a limitation on
the number of addresses that can be included in a distribution list, and if
so what is it?

For a DL stored in an Exchange mailbox or public folder, it's about 120
names. For a DL stored in a PST file, there's no comparable limitation.

But the mail server restriction really, really does matter, so those limits
above are absolutely moot unless you know your mail server limit.
