I am running Office XP Outlook and find in the address book, the e-mail
address as well as the fax number.  I would like to remove the fax entries,
but when I delete from address book, the fax number is deleted from
Contacts.  Is there a way for the address book to not show the fax number?
Secondly, I imported an .wab from Oulook Express.  They names appeare in the
contacts address book as Last Name, First Name & the contact which I added
manually appear First Name, Last.  Is there a way to re-sync this?  I have
tried to re-save them in the contacts and it has no effect  on the Contacts
Address Book.

Thank you for any help or suggestions.

The standard behavior for the Outlook Address book is to display all
electronic addresses (both fax and e-mail). That behavior cannot be changed.
The only way to prevent the display of fax numbers is to store them in a
different field or to disguise them (e.g., precede them with an alpha
character) so that Outlook won't recognize them as phone numbers.
There are also a number of utilities available that can do this for you
automatically. Some are listed here:

Go to Tools > E-mail accounts > View or change existing directories or
address books > Outlook Address Book > Change. > Set your sort order there
