I can not get a fax through. I have changed dialing
properties till I am blue in the face. Wmen I get the
propt "Answer Noe" I click and always get "Error in
Recieving Fax". I am ready to go back to my stand alone
fax machine.

Post your fax software and how you installed and configured it.
Explain whether you are talking about sending a fax (where dialing
properties might be in play) or receiving a fax (where "Answer Now" prompt
might be seen).
Post exact error messages and what you see in Event Viewer.
