I have a new WIN2003 Server which is sharing a fax device.
I have a NT 4.0 Exchange Server with normal mailboxes, contacts and distribution lists with fax numbers.  We had no problem faxing with the Microsoft client from the distribution lists using Outlook 2003; numbers were in the correct format +1 (615) 111-1111.

In getting ready to create a new 2003 Exchange Server, I copied the mailboxes down to a local .pst file & deleted the old Exchange Account.

Now, when we try to fax to an existing distribution list, or a new one, the fax number is in this format "contact name@+1 (615) 111-1111 and they do not go out.

Any solutions, please..

Not a fax issue. Ask in an Exchange group.
