Hi,
My Outlook 2003 includes three accounts, two email accounts and one
fax account. For some reason, Outlook keeps running its Send/Receive
action. One item, Fax mail transport, appears endlessly, uses
resources and halts my system (winxp, SP2).
How do I prevent Outlook from activating its fax mail transport
endlessly?

You can't. Known behavior. It's harmless. I've never seen consume any
resources whatsoever.

Go to Outlook -> Tools -> Send/Receive -> Send/Receive Settings -> Define
Send/Receive Groups
Here, you can define groups of accounts you want to schedule for
send/recieve and set send/receive settings.

Doesn't work. Trust me. Ask any Outlook developer. They all confirmed it.
