I went to run a "detect and repair" from the Office 2003 Professional
CD.  I got to that screen in the install, selected "Detect and Repair"
along with "Restore start menu shortcuts" and click next, but the
installer hangs, and I eventually get a "not responding" message.  Of
course, I have tried to the restart, also tried a "safe" mode install,
and I attempted to run it from the local hard drive as well as our
server copy.  Any ideas on how to get past this?

Thanks in advance.
