Help with Canon-270S fax

Bought at auction Canon-270S but no manual. The screen display is not
helpful. Can anyone give me a clue how to get it to work?

My apology. As there are only a couple of active fax newsgroups, I thought
it's most likely that some people here would have experienced with other fax
machines in the past.

Google for it - you might find a PDF either from canon or from someone who
posted one.

Had done that as well as doing a search of Canon web site and eBay before
this post.
