auto deleting emails

I am having a problem with one of my users running 2003 on MS Exchange
Server 2003. When he deletes an e-mail it does not go to the deleted folder,
it permanently deletes itself. We have tried all the seetings for auto
deleting within tools, options, etc. Any ideas or an easy way to reset the
folder options to default settings?

Try creating a new user profile by logging in as someone else on the machine and see if the problem persists.
