How, if possible, does one write a console (command prompt) script to send
e-mail with an attachment using software that ships with Windows XP Pro
only?

Not sure what you mean by "software that ships with Windows XP Pro
only"...do you mean software to create this script (I'm not a programmer so
I have no idea) or the e-mail program that will be used to send the message?
Outlook does not come with Windows so if you are talking about the mail
program, your question is outside the scope of this newsgroup.
