we have a mixture of outlook versions, if someone uses 03 then 00 they get
"This view is damaged. Default settings will be used." it's fine with 01 and
03, just 00.

outlook /cleanviews does not help

any idea

a) what's causing this and/or
b) how to stop it happening (apart from the obvious of remove ol2000!)

You're going to have problems if you mix 2000 and 2003 clients - the users
should not mix those two versions. (Rules are another problem area.)

Did you use the cleanviews switch from outlook 2003 or 2000?
