Hi,

My VB6 program was sending emails under Outlook 2000 just fine until Outlook
2003 was installed on the client's machine. Now, every time Item.Send is
executed a warning message pops up with the statement: "A program is trying
to automatically send email on your behalf ..." The program is not using
Exchange or shared folders. Are there any settings in Outlook, the registry,
and/or any other places that can be set in order to circumvent this problem?

That's the security that was added in Outlook 2000 SP2. It's been around for
about 6 years now.

See http://www.outlookcode.com/d/sec.htm for an explanation of what's going
on and your options.
