My wife has a paid Hotmail account that we successfully accessed with Outlook
2007 and the Hotmail Connector on her new Vista laptop.  I was expecting the
Connector to synchronize her mail, contacts and calendar items with the
default message store in Outlook but instead it created a second message
store just for the Hotmail account.  Now instead of having one Contacts
folder and one Calendar folder that syncs both ways with Hotmail on the web,
she has two Contacts and Calendar folders.  And an empty set of mail folders
in the default message store that she will never use.  She finds all of this
very confusing.

Is there a way to have a single message store for Outlook 2007 when using
the Outlook Connector with Hotmail accounts?

Thanks for any insight.

Is the paid account Hotmail Plus or Hotmail Premium?

I believe it is Hotmail Plus.  What is the difference?  Would the premium
account resolve the issue that I described??

A Hotmail Premium account is required for calendar synchronization.
