I'd like to figure out how to read the system file with
an NK2 extension so that I can edit out erroneous or
incomplete entries.

Does anyone know how this file is structured?

Answered in microsoft.public.outlook.  If you must cross-post, it is better
to post the same message to all the relevant newsgroups at once (please keep
it down to the bare minimum!) by including all the newsgroup names in the
"Newsgroups" field in the header of your message.  That way, the same thread
is visible in all of the groups, including all replies.
