When I attempt to open Outlook I get message.'No profiles
have been created. To create a new profile, use the mail
icon in the control panel'
I then click OK and then get the message 'Cannot start
Outlook. Unable to open the outlook window. The server is
not available. Contact your administrator if this
condition persists.'
I have tried creating a new profile but still get the same
message.
I have contacted the administrator i.e. me and I don't
know what to do.
Cheers Bob

Hi Bob,

I am not sure if this works for Outlook 2000, but I have
come acroos this using Outlook XP,  You need to go to the
control panel (start, settings, control panel) and click
on the mail icon to set up your profile.  You should get
an option to set up your email account (either using your
work server or ISP server.)
