I have my IMAP folders loaded up in Outlook 2002, and have
only the headers downloaded.

I notice that outlook slows to a crawl as it updates its
databinding oepration, presumeably updating its local
files.  I have ordered version 2003 as I suspect it can
now cache the IMAP folders while offline, speeding life
up. Is this correct?

Many thanks

IMAP works essentially the same in Outlook 2003 as in Outlook 2002. What do you mean by "its databinding operation"?
