MS Office Forum / Outlook / Interop / January 2004Can not empty deleted items.
I am running office 2003 and exchange 2003. I have a system that the outlook if you delete a item from the inbox it gets moved to the deleted items... If you goto the deleted items and try and empty it you get a error that says unable to do that or i donot have permission. This user is a administrator. Thanks Mike Try deleting the OST file: Close Outlook Search the hard drive for *.ost (be sure to search in hidden files) Then delete it (or all that you find) Open Outlook A new OST file will be created when you open Outlook.
