Hello all,

I have 1 person with a intermittant problem of headers not printing in
emails. I have tried HTML and Rich Text, and both sometimes will not
print headers.

The "use word to edit email" option was never ticked, and I can not
nail it down to a specific sender/recipient or domain. It is also
occuring if he prints his sent items.

So far it seems pretty random, but if an email doesnt print the header,
then it will consistantly not print headers. If I forward the email to
myself the header prints out fine.

Anyone know what is goin on???

Thanks,
Nathan

I am struggling with this same issue.  I even reinstalled Outlook, hoping
that would resolve this issue, but it did not.  Others that receive the exact
same email are able to print with the headers, so the issue is definitely
within the client.  If you get an answer, please let me know as well!  Thanks!

So far no joy, most problems I find seem to be when the user has the
"use word to edit email" option ticked. But have not yet found anything
otherwise...

What kind of printers do you use, we use Kyocera, which always have
wierd problems with their drivers. But as you said, it seems to be
client based.

Thanks,
Dekkar

I do use outlook with word as the editor, but even when I turn this option
off, I still have the problem.  We have an HP Colorjet 3550.... so it's not a
printer issue.  I'd hate to think that I can't use word as an editor, since
my emails needs to include a lot of tables and such.   If I learn of a
solution at some point, I'll let you know.  I might bite the bullet and pay
Microsoft for an answer.

Hello...

I still have this problem. I have tried changing printers, ticking and
unticking the use word as editor box, but nothing seems to fix it.

has anyone else had a similar problem?

Thx,
Dekkar

I have a client who has this problem. I have also tried ticking and
unticking the "Use Word as editor" box, but nothing works. Some emails
print OK with headers, some don't - and there seems not to be any
pattern.

All Windows XP and Office 2003 patches are up to date. Release
Candidate 1 of Internet Explorer 7 is installed - could it be part of
the problem ??

I have a user for whom I just updated IE to 7, and now his archive messages
do not print the header.

I am having the same problem, but it only appears to affect printing of
e-mail that is a reply to an outbound message.  Inbound messages and outbound
messages print okay, but once you try to print a reply, then the Account
name, From, To, Date, etc. won't print.  If anyone comes up with a solution,
I'd love to know what it is too.
