I have been having problems with my printer. I purchased
and installed an Lexmark X74-X75 all in one. It worked for
a while until it accidently became unplugged at the power
surge protector. After being replugged in I get an error
cant read printer reconnect cords. I have done this
several times. I even brought a new USB cord. Nothing has
worked. I have emailed manufacturer so many times without
any solutions. I try to run setup disk it doesnt read
printer. I believe my problem is is port selections. It
gives me a choice of LPT or USB 002 but I need USB 001. My
question is how do I get my computer to show USB 001 in
the selections on installation disk? I have another older
Lexmark printer a Z11 and ran that disk. The X74-X75 setup
but get error Line 1174 URL
res://c:\windows\system\shdoclc.dll preview.dlg
I hope reading other port will slove my problem if can get
instructions on how to get my system to read it. I am
running windows 98

Try posting this to a Windows 98 group for hardware. This has nothing to do
with Outlook, which this group supports.
