Dear Sirs,

How can I differentiate between an attachment that is an image or a logo
embedded within the message or if it is an attached file?

Regards,
Yahya

If it's embedded then it's also an attachment but a hidden attachment. See
http://www.outlookcode.com/d/code/htmlimg.htm for some code that plays with
that to see what you will need to check.

Dmitry has a Redemption adaptation of Sue's code from outlookcode.com that
does the same thing with Redemption. I had to modify the Redemption code a
little to run correctly but it shows the principles of how to use Redemption
instead of CDO to embed an image in an HTML email.

Hi Yahya,

for this you´d need CDO or Redemption, too. An embedded attachment has a
PR_ATTACH_CONTENT_ID (&H3712000A) property.
