Is there any way to recover the messages from the deleted folder? I've tried
the DBExtract utility with zero success.

Any other ideas?

Allen,

Select "Deleted Items" folder then go to "Tools | Recover Deleted Items..."
menu. If the messages, Outlook'll display the list of emails that can be
recovered.

Presumably that's for Outlook 2003.......

DBExtract is for Outlook Express.

If the user is trying it on Outlook that's a problem right there. If
it is Outlook Express then posting in an Outlook Express newsgroup
instead of an Outlook one would produce better answers.
