I am looking for a utiliity that hides fax numbers in the Outlook xp
and 2003 address list when you click to "To..." button. I know Sperry
Software (www.sperrysoftware.com) makes a utility that does this but
is $ 19.95. I suspect there has to be a free utility or workaround to
this.

AFAIK, there isn't, unless you want to write your own. You can always just
type "F" in front of the fax numbers manually.
