Does anyone know what the best way is to disable the
Outlook preview pane at an Enterprise level?

Is there a way to add the "/nopreview" switch to the
existing properties of the Outlook desktop icon? If not is
there a way to remove and replace the icon with a desktop
shortcut that I can deploy via GPO in AD?

Thanks,
Jake

You can disable it by Group Policy. The Office Resource Kit holds an
adm-template which you can import into the GP editor.
User Configuration-> Administrative Templates-> Microsoft Outlook
<version>-> Tools | Options-> Other-> Preview Pane-> set it to Disabled

This didn't work.

I believe that setting it to disabled only disables the 4 Preview Pane
settings defined in the ADM template with PART statements, and not the
Preview Pane itself.

Anybody have different results?
