Hi

We are using some archiving software for Exchange which uses custom
forms in Outlook and we are experiencing problems with these forms
being displayed in the preview pane in Outlook 2002.

The software mentions a HotFix, number 318119, which can be obtained
from Microsoft but not downloaded.

Has anyone managed to obtain this hotfix as Microsoft cannot find any
reference to it!!

Many thanks.

Regards

Does your form have code in it? If it does it won't display in the
preview pane in any version of Outlook. There is no hot fix for that.

Hi

Thanks.

Since posting, I have found knowledge base article 331788 which says
that SP2 for Office XP fixes the preview problem (and makes the hotfix
I was after redundant).  However, I needed to make a registry change
(detailed at the end of the KB article) which now allows me to see the
contents of the archive shortcuts in the preview pane.

Regards
David
