Hi I have 7035 contact items in a public folder, i designed a custom form ... is it possible to merge the current items to the new form. Greetz R. You need to change the MessageClass on the existing items to point to your new form's class. Outlook has a memory leak when iterating largish Items collections. You might need to try doing them in smaller batches -- move each batch to an empty folder before processing. Increasing the size of the Windows paging file may alsoo help. Alternatively, you could rewrite the macro to use CDO, which can handle larger message collections.
