Customised fields not available in Mail Merge.

I've got exactly the same problem as Ed.  And I do as Sue
recommends but it makes no difference.

Hope you can help me.

Outlook version? Can you see the fields and their values in a folder view?
If not, then you
need to add the fields to the folder.

Thanks for your reply.  I've fixed it.  FYI:  Outlook
2002.  The fields and their values were in a folder view.  
But the fields were associated with a form rather than the
folder.  So I created the fields again (with exactly the
same name) using the field chooser in a view.  And they
are now available to Word via a Mail Merge.  Bliss.
