I find the sibling technology in outlook forms very powerful. But I also find it very reductive the limitations found when customizing standard forms. I really can't understand why Custom properties involving dates cannot be displayed with the built-in calendar control of standard forms. Furthermore, custom properties that can be edited with a combo-box in a form are showed as standard edit-box in the explorer view. There is no standard way to let the user select Items in a folder so that they can be linked into the message (the same functionality achieved by the 'Links' button in standard forms). The PropertyChange event does not give the opportunity to cancel the change and so we have to store the previous value somewhere to be able to roll it back. The developer has to break his head to obtain functionalities that are already implemented in Outlook. Dont' you agree ?
