hello,

i'm trying to make an html link to a record on an exchange server... i
have scripts that determine the folders and such.. in the old outlook
you used to be able to put just a ~ before the subject and it would
open..

here is the link...

<A href="outlook://All Public Folders/Contacts/Clients/~John Smith">

This did work... not with the new outlook..

Thanks in advance..

Dan

That wouldn't be a valid link in any version of Outlook. It needs to include
the full path:

<A href="outlook://Public Folders/All Public Folders/Contacts/Clients/~John
Smith">

By "new outlook," do you mean Outlook 2003?
