Hello,

I'm using Outlook 2003 and trying to create a custom Appointment form
for a public calendar.  I've managed to create the initial form with a
temporary field to learn the programmatic way to grab custom field
info off the form in VBA (which works well, and thanks to the great
posts that helped me get there).  But now that I want to modify my
custom form further, I can't!  I mean, I can open the form by going to
Tools->Forms->Design a form, but once I make changes to the form, the
"Save and Close" option never activates (disabled from the opening of
the form).  I can go to File->Save, but then when I close the form and
open it again, none of the changes have, in fact, been saved.

I haven't invested a whole lot of time in this, so I could just "start
from scratch", but it bugs me that this damned thing won't save!!!!
:)   Anybody out there got any ideas about this, or seen similar
behavior?

Thanks in advance for any help or advice you can offer.

Peace,
Dave Spaar

You have to publish the form. Save and close is only for an active form, not
one in design mode.

Thanks, I had tried that before I posted but it didn't seem to
work...although when I went back in right now to check on this, the
changes I'd made were there!  Weird, but thanks for the help!!  :)
