Email Link problem

I know I visited this issue last week, but for some reason I slept between
then and now and don't remember what the solution, if any, was.  Silly me.

All of my custom Outlook forms apps create and send "Tag, you're it." emails
to let another person know that an issue has been assigned to them.  The
emails that are created contain a link back to the task that was created,
but for a long while now--I think ever since the Microsoft Email Warning box
was instituted, or thereabouts--it has not worked.  I.E. when the user
dbl-clicks on the link, nothing happens.  We have found a work-around in
which the email recipient can click the Reply or Forward button to create
the reply or forwarded email and then link works.  In some cases there is a
warning about opening Embedded objects, but at least that works.  Kludgy
work-around, but many have gotten used to it.  Oh and BTW, I inherited it
this way, so I have known about it for a while, but now it's my
responsibility to fix it.  Lovely.

My boss, knowing not much about Dmitry's Redemption module, thinks that use
of the Redemption module in the custom forms will solve this, and I have yet
to convince him otherwise.  I think Sue had some good things to say and I
apologize for not taking more notes or learning from the discussion last
week, but I promise to take better notes this time.

Thanks in advance for any help that anyone out there can provide.

Withdrawn.  I found the old thread.  Sorry.
