Hi

I customized the contact form to our demands of our
business and saved and joined in our public folder. If I
add a new contact in the public folder everything works
fine with the customized form.

Now, I would like to copy my contacts (standard outlook
form) into the public folder (customized form).

I tried to do this with Copy/Past and an export/import
with Excel. The result was always the same. The contacts
are copied but they will be displayed in the standard
outlook form instead of the customized form.

Does anyone know how I can copy my contacts into the
public folder and get them to be displayed in my
customized form?

Regards

Simon

No copying is involved. You need to change the MessageClass on the existing
items to point to your
new form's class. See
http://www.outlookcode.com/d/newdefaultform.htm#convert for several tools
and scripts to accomplish this.
