Custom Forms Cause Outlook To Freeze?

Hello,

We are using Custom Forms for the Public Folder Calendar
folders using Exchange 2003 over HTTP on Mailstreets
exchange servers. We had added more fields to the default
form and other things like that outside of the Custom
Forms.

My question is, is it possible that the Custom Forms can
cause Outlook 2003, when creating a new calendar entry, to
freeze Outlook for 10 to 15 minutes and then wait another
1 to 1.5 hrs to do it again?

How can I tell if it is the code or the exchange server
doing this?

When I try to set it to the default Calendar Forms, it
works without any problems because it is locally installed
on the computer. The custom forms are on the server, which
are required to be downloaded everytime to use them.

Is there a way to make the Custom Forms installed locally
on the computer where it doesn't have to go to the server
to download it or do I have a wrong theory?

Thanks and God Bless!

Where are the forms published?

The forms are published directly to each individual
folder. Our programmer created a module within Outlook to
Publish all new forms to each folder, being that we have
over 200 folders.

They are published within each folder in the Public
Folders online through Mailstreet.

Thanks and God Bless!

These are folders in Public Folder\Favorites, I presume? You should
definitely upgrade to SP1, which fixes a custom form hang issue related to
custom forms used in Favorites folders.
