I have situation where Word is configured as my email editor, yet I
want to open a new message (new inspector) that will be non-Word
(proper Outlook inspector).
The EditorType property seems to be read only... yet, I know it's
possible because even if Word is set as my email editor, when I use
Windows Explorer's "Send To Mail Recipient" feature, a non-word
inspector is opened.
I'm using outlook 2003, but I'd like to know how do it in 2000/2 as
well.

All the ways that I can think of to do that (involving mailto: or other ways to invoke Simple MAPI) would not give you an Inspector you can work with.
