How do I get my messages to show without the notatino of what day/week the
message was received (i.e., just a listing by date)?

If I understand your question correctly, you should just be able to
right-click on the column header and click Format Columns. Under Available
fields:, select Received, then you can change the format to any one of the
listed formats.
