Outlook will not close

I have some computers here at work that when trying to close Outlook it will
not close.  I have checked add-ins that are not there.  I have reinstalled
and then reinstalled.  Can someone please help me?

Configuration:
Windows 2000 Pro w/latest updates
Office 2000 w/latest updates
We are not using pst's. Email stays on server.
Several have access to multiple accounts.

The server is Exchange 5.5.

This is a known problem; we had it, too. I distributed a batch file
which killed the Outlook/MAPI32 processes.

However, Ken Slovak suggests a cleaner method: apply post-SP4 fixes to
Exchange 5.5 and start Outlook with the /resetfolders switch. I can't
verify that as we don't have Outlook 9 (2000) any more. You'll find
