I have some contacts in Microsoft Excel like for example: Maria  +351 96 777
55 66, and I want to transfer this contact to my contact list in the outlook .

Use the File | Import and Export command in Outlook for this.

and this is the message I have wen I go to the import and export

> an error occurred in the Microsoft Excel translator while getting the contents of a file system
The Microsoft excel file
“C:\..............................................xls” has no named ranges.
Use Microsoft excel to name the range of data you want to import

So, do what the error message suggests: create a named range. Open the Excel file, select the data you want to import, then choose Insert | Name | Define, and save the file.
