Change field label

This might not be right group, but I'm wondering if I can change  a lable on
a screen.  On the contact card there is a field called "IM address:"  I'd
like use that field for something else. Is there a way to change the label?

Is there a site that can help a newbie learn how to modify Outlook screens?

You can, but if you customize a Contact form you'll lose the out-of-the-box
look and feel of the main page.
