MS Office Forum / Outlook / Programming VBA / July 2003Subject had bad chars for file name
I'm saving email items to .msg files, using the subject as part of the file name. Characters such as "?" are invalid for file names -- what's the usual remedy for this? Is there an easy way to remove/replace all invalid characters in a string? TIA, -jcf I usually use a series of Replace() functions. What you replace with is your choice.
