Hi,

I'd like to create a desktop alert with vba, just like the ones Outlook
2003 displays as a preview when new mail arrives. I do some automatic
processing of email attachments and I'd like to be notified when this
happens.
It this possible at all? I haven't found anything about desktop alerts. And
I don't want to use the office assistant to display the alerts.

Thanks,

Kai

Unfortunately there is no way to program the display of Desktop Alerts.  You
can display them with a custom rule though.
