I would like to have a folder appear in my Folder List that shows me the
names of files (not Outlook items) located on a network share.  This would
enable me to easily see when someone has placed a file in a particular server
folder.  This seems like it should be fairly easy to do, but I have not been
able to figure out any way.  I really need this in Outlook, as we have
several drag-and-drop applications that I use to process these files
configured as Outlook Add-Ins.

Microsoft apparently had good reason to remove this feature, which is no
longer available as of Outlook 2003.
