I would like to extend Outlook with custom action that would appear on
context menu of items (items in Inbox and possibly other  folders). Whenever
this action is selected by user from menu for the item, certain code is to be
executed, that should receive item id/handle as an argument.

I am wondering if Outlook provides interface for definition of custom actions.

If yes, could someone please point me to a sample.

Thanks.

Yes, on the (Actions) tab of a custom form. You can also add a custom action
without using a custom form, as demonstrated at
